Get Covered Illinois-Day of Action

In order to educate community members about health coverage resources available to them through Get Covered Illinois-The Official Health Marketplace, Jefferson County Health Department is taking part in "Cover Your Community" on Saturday, November 2, a day of action where organizations across the state of Illinois will reach out to the residents in their communities to inform them about health insurance options.

You can join Jefferson County Health Department at Mt. Vernon Market Days located on the grounds of the former Armory on November 2 where we will have trained staff on-hand to provide you with information about your health insurance options.  We are here to help you learn about the resources available to you before you take the next step to enroll.

Now is the time to get smart.  If you need help finding the right health insurance, you can talk to someone at our offices about coverage options.  There are people available to meet face-to-face or over the phone.  Please call 618-244-7134 to schedule an appointment today.

Illinoisans can also learn more about their health coverage options by visiting www.GetCoveredIllinois.gov or calling the toll-free Help Desk at (886)311-1119.  Support is available online, in-person and over the phone to answer questions an help people find coverage.
