BACKTO SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS AVAILABLE
Mt. Vernon- The Jefferson County Health Department is offering additional office hours for children needing to get their immunizations for school. The health department already has Mondays and Thursdays as walk-in days for immunizations. Starting next week on August 3rd through August 31st , Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-4:00 pm will also be open for walk- in immunizations. Becky Brooks, RN, Director of Nursing states, “A current shot record must be brought in to avoid any delays in getting your child’s immunizations.” Accepted forms of payment are cash, check or child’s current medicaid card.
The following dates for back to school immunizations are:
August 1- Monday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00- 4:00pm
August 3- Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm
August 4- Thursday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00- 4:00pm
August 8- Monday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00- 4:00pm
August 10- Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm
August 11- Thursday from 10:00am -1:00pm and 2:30-5:30pm
August 15- Monday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00- 4:00pm
August 17- Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm
August 18- Thursday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00-4:00pm
August 22- Monday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00- 4:00pm
August 24-Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm
August 25-Thursday from 10:00am-1:00pm and 2:30-5:30pm
August 29-Monday from 8:30-11:30am and 1:00-4:00pm
August 31- Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm
